Question:

I purchased a used 2019 Jeep Cherokee Latitude Plus 4x4 with Active Drive II for the express reason to flat tow behind our motor home. I purchased the vehicle on line out of state through a reputable company. I noticed when I received the vehicle I am new to flat towing that it already had a Roadmaster baseplate, RM-521452-5 installed. However it did not come with the removable direct connect arms, so those are missing. Is there a way to just purchase the removable arms with any associated locking pins or bolts that are needed? If so, what is the product number I would need?

To purchase just the arms for your # RM-521452-5 you will need to fill out the attached "Installation Details" form from # RM-ARMS and send it in to Roadmaster to purchase the exact arms for this base plate.

To flat tow your 2019 Jeep Cherokee Latitude Plus 4x4 with Active Drive II you'll also need a tow bar that's compatible with your direct-connect arms (once you get them), a tow bar wiring kit, braking system, and safety cables. If you haven't gotten these items yet then I have the following recommendations for you:

Tow Bar: Roadmaster Falcon All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar # RM-522. This tow bar will connect to your base plate arms with no adapters needed. It features non-binding latches and a large hookup radius to make connecting/disconnecting on any terrain a breeze.

Tow Bar Wiring Kit: Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267. This diode kit allows you to use your Jeep Cherokee's tail lights and wiring system while preventing feedback from your RV. It comes with everything needed for installation included.
