For your Curt Coupler 25138 which is similar to their Curt QuickPin No-Latch Trailer Coupler # C54UR, they recommend using grade 5, 1/2" bolts and nuts. If you have an open channel on your straight tongue trailer you will need to use 4 bolts and nuts.
This hardware is available at a local hardware store.
