From what I have found, the EL code is the designation for a leak error. The "R" is telling you that the right air spring is the component that is leaking.
In order to locate the leak, apply a solution of soap and water to the fitting, air bag, and air line while it is inflated. You will be able to see air bubbles where the leak is located. If you find that it is just the air line, you can replace it with # F9416. If it is coming from where the fitting and air line meet, it is possible you could re-cut it. Make sure to use a tool like the # AL10530 in order to make sure it is cut perfectly square. If you need to replace an air helper spring, I would need to know which model you have in order to find the right replacement.
I have included a link to all of our Firestone replacement parts, including air bags, should you need to replace something else. If you are unable to locate the leak, or find a replacement part, feel free to reach out for further assistance.
