Hi, what would you recommend for our tires 2022 Keystone Passport travel trailer. We keep our camper at home but would like to elevate the tires from the dirt. Thank you.

Hi Susan!

There are a few ways to get the tires on your 2022 Keystone Passport travel trailer off the ground. The Blue Ox Leveling Kit with Wheel Chocks for Trailers and RVs # BLU47UR would definitely get the job done, but it is a bit expensive and you would need two as it looks like you have two axles. The Stackers StayPut Jack Pads and Leveling Blocks - 10" Square - Qty 10 # VAL53MB could also be used if you are just wanting to get the wheels out of the dirt. One under each wheel would do the trick, but it is less fancy than the Blue Ox option.

Now if you really wanted to get your tires out of the dirt, you could use jack stands under the frame to completely lift everything off the ground. This is probably on the overkill side of things and if it's outside where wind can hit it, I wouldn't do this. It would be bad to have it fall off the jack stands. If you are storing it indoors though, I would probably go this route. I couldn't find the weight of your camper, but you can get jack stands that will carry your load pretty inexpensively at just about any hardware store.

Hi Susan, how did things go with getting your Keystone Passport’s tires off the ground? Did the Blue Ox leveling kit or the Stacker pads work better for your setup? Your update could make it easier for others storing their campers at home.
