Recommendations For Carrying A 1-1/4" Thule T2 Pro XTR In A 2" Hitch

Question:

I need an adaptor to turn the 1 1/4” to a 2”. Does Thule make one specifically for this model rack?

I do have an option to use the Thule T2 Pro XTR Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" Hitches # TH23JV with a 2" receiver, but there will not be a designated Thule adapter available. This is due to how the hook attached to the pin hole and tightens down in it.

With that said, what you will need to do is go with something like the Brophy Hitch Reducer 2" to 1-1/4" # HT02. This will adapter your 2" receiver to a 1-1/4" receiver and allow for the use of your # TH23JV rack. One of the big pluses with this adapter is that it does not reduce your tongue weight by 50%, as most adapter/reducers will.
