Can Weight Distribution be Used With Curt Trailer Hitch C23WR on 2022 Hyundai Santa Cruz
Published 11/10/2021 >
Question:
The product says not not rated for weight-distribution systems however my owners guide suggests the use of anti-sway bars. Are these two separate things and how do/can I use weight distribution systems / anti-sway bars with this hitch?

Weight distribution systems are designed to level your set up so it is different from sway control; it is correct that you cannot use a weight distribution system with the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C23WR.
What you will want to use instead is a friction sway control system, which has a sway control plate that connects to your trailer frame and provides stability to keep your trailer in line behind your tow vehicle. What you will need is the following:
- Reese Friction Sway Control Kit # 83660
- Reese Sway-Control Bracket for 2" Ball Mounts # RP26003
The bracket will fit over your ball mount, and will be the go-between from the sway control kit. I have added links below to video reviews as well as instructions for you to check out which may be helpful for you.
