Will the Yakima EXO SwingBase 2 Tier Swing Away Hitch Clear 2020 Ram ProMaster 3500 Doors

Question:

Can this Yakima Swing-away hitch when in stalled on RAM Promaster 3500, will the rear doors open all the way without hitting any parts of the swing-away base system?

In order to find if the Yakima EXO SwingBase 2 Tier Swing Away Hitch Extender - 2" Hitches # Y82VR will allow you to open the doors all the way you will need to take some measurements. The distance from the center of the receiver to the knob at the racks hinge is 29" and the knob sticks up approximately 8" from the top of the receiver. If you measure over 29" from the center of your receiver, you will be able to see about how far the door will be able to open, assuming you have enough clearance over the knob.

Based on what I found, the overall width of a 2020 ProMaster 3500 is 80" so it is unlikely you will be able to open the doors all the way. It will, however, be an improvement over your current setup since you will be able to completely open one door and mostly open the other giving you greater access to your rear cargo area.
