Can the Yakima OpenRange Camp Kitchen Be Used On Its Own

Question:

Hello etrailer.. I have been looking for a camp kitchen for my 3Gen Tacoma. Would the box work as a stand alone component without the swing arm? Im thinking I would store the box in the bed. When I need it, I would slide it onto the lift gate. It appears to have room to store my camp stove and all my pot, pans, and utensils. Can you provide internal measurements? Does the metal stove table work on both sides? Do you have any pictures showing this in the stand alone config? Thanks...

The OpenRange Camp Kitchen part # Y46AR will work great on its own, whether you're using the swing away system (Yakima Exo System Swing Away part # Y82VR), portable stand (Leg Kit for Yakima OpenRange part # Y76AR), or just simply propping it up on the tailgate. The internal dimensions are 29" long x 14" tall x 13" deep and the capacity is listed as 85 liters. In regards to the Side Table for Yakima OpenRange part # Y98AR, this can be attached to either side.
