Question:

Hello, I have a 30,000 BTU ventless heater I would like to run off of 2 100 lb lp tanks. I would like an auto switching regulator to make tank changes easy. On the pigtails, I would like to have a fuel gauge in each one. What parts do you recommend?

For your dual 100lb LP tanks, with your 30,000 BTU vent-less heater, I recommend using the Camco Automatic Changeover 2-Stage Propane Regulator for Dual Propane Tanks # CAM59005, which is rated for 160,000 BTU. For a gas gauge, we offer the Camco Propane Cylinder Gas Gauge # CAM59023; from here you can monitor the levels of your propane and detect leaks; finally you can connect your pigtails with # 100019-15.

I actually have POL fittings on my 100 lb tanks. Will these pigtails work for that or will I need something else?

Working on the assumption that your 100 pound tanks have FEMALE POL fittings, you would only need to a couple JR Products # 37207-30125, or MB Sturgis # 204128-MBS adapter fittings. Otherwise you can use the setup described in the article.
