Question:
Im looking to add electric brakes to an Axis brand 3500# axle. There is a customer p/n 368207 s/n 1862-B-007 and the trailer is a Quality Steel and Aluminum Product. Currently the existing no brake hubs are 5 lug pattern. Do you have the correct brake assemblies at e-trailer for this brand axle? Thank you.

In order to know exactly what brakes/hub + drums you need, we need to know how many lugs you have on your Axis axle, but we also need to know the distance between the lugs. The most common setup for a 5-lug axle is a 5 on 4-1/2 inch. I went ahead and attached an article on how to measure the lug spacing.
For the 5 on 4-1/2 inch route, I recommend the following parts:
- Dexter Nev-R-Adjust Electric Trailer Brake Kit - 10" - Left and Right Hand Assemblies - 3.5K # 23-468-469
- etrailer Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly for 3,500-lb E-Z Lube Axles - 10" Diameter - 5 on 4-1/2 # AKHD-545-35-EZ-K
The Nev-R-Adjust brakes are great because they are low maintenance and do not require manual adjustments. As far as the Dexter hum/drum assembly, that kit comes with bearings, races, grease seal, grease cap, wheel bolts, and lug nuts.
If you do not have a brake controller and a breakaway switch yet, I recommend those components for a whole setup. With that being said, I recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller - 1 to 4 Axles # 90885 along with the Bright Way Trailer Breakaway Kit with Switch and 0.5-Amp Charger # 3802336.
If you measure the lug nut distance and you determine that it is not 4-1/2 inches, feel free to provide the measurement for me and I will recommend the best parts for your setup.
