Question:
I would like to replace the Fan-tastic venti in my Airstream with a MaxxFan. How do I confirm the existing opening size and where do I find the MaxxFan model number?

To determine your current opening size you will want to measure the rough opening on your trailers' roof. Make sure to remove the garnish ring in your roof's opening to get an accurate measurement. The most common openings is 14 1/4" x 14 1/4".
To find the serial number on a MaxxFan like # MA00-06200K, you'll want to look on the fan control plate under the round insect screen frame. Rotate the four retaining knobs 180° and remove the screen to view.
