Measurement From Bottom Of The Wheel Cradle To The Bottom Of The Thule Insta-Gater Truck Bed Rack
Updated 11/09/2021 | Published 10/29/2021 >
Question:
What is the measurement from the bottom of the rack to the lowest point on the tire holder? Reason why I ask is I have a F150 with a cap. I believe I have 43.5inch from the floor of my bed to the underside of my cap. My bike at the highest point to the bottom of the tire is 40. So If the tire hold is 3.5inch or taller I cant use this rack. Does that make sense?

We were able to take a measurement from the bottom of the base to the bottom of the wheel cradle on the Thule Insta-Gater Pro Truck Bed Bike Rack - 1 Bike, part # TH93VR. This distance is 2-1/8".
I have included a picture with the distance measurement and a video review below.
