Which direction do you install the exterior portion of the half moon vent flat side up/down/forward/backward? Where is the best place to put a vent on a cargo trailer top front or back bottom?

On the 2-Piece Polypropylene Trailer Vent, # WHMAV2-WAVT2, I would mount it near the top front of the trailer with the vent openings pointed down or towards the rear of the trailer. Ultimately, it does not really matter. Use some self-tapping screws like # 31071 and some sealant like # 0160297 when installing the vent.

We only have one style of "mushroom cap" for a roof vent. It is available in white with part #37202-29125, or black with part #37202-29115.
