It's a screw!

Vent is sufficiently built not as heavy duty as the one I replaced, but should do the job. Only other complaint would be that the butyl tape is placed inside the roof vent cover where it heats up and adheres to every point of contact. Ironically this was a complaint I saw mentioned on other reviews I had read before making the purchase. etrailer customer service was very helpful when placing the order and getting what I needed to get the job done.

Good quality, no rust after time outdoors.
Went
on teardrop trailer and after 11K trip all was well.
Keep up the good work.

Thanks etailer for getting all our products so fast to us . Really appreciate the free shipping. We ordered a replacement roof vent with fan, great product, installed nicely. Couple weeks later realize our other vent was cracked, ordered another roof vent. My husband replace the first one, but I had to install the second one by myself due to him having back surgery. Was able to do in an hour, no problems, and it looks great. Sorry no pictures, I am scare of heights . Sherri-from NV

  • Function Of Trailer Vents On Enclosed Trailer
The vents we offer for an enclosed trailer like part # 9139 are designed to allow air into the trailer. None of the vents we offer create a pressurized condition in the trailer and none are equipped with an air filtration system to keep dust out. Some of the features on the vents like # 9139 allow you to adjust the amount of airflow in the trailer with a butterfly valve mounted on the inside of the vent which would be operated from inside the trailer. Other trailer vents, like part #...

  • Installation Hardware for Trailer Vent HMAV2-AVT2
To install the 2-Piece Polypropylene Trailer Vent # HMAV2-AVT2 you will need 9 screws, either the Zinc Sheet Metal Screw # 31071 or Wood Screw # 30587 as well as Sealant # LT37467.

  • Is Inside Trim Included With Redline 2-Way Pop-Up Roof Vent
The interior trim garnish is indeed included with the Redline 2-Way Pop-Up Roof Vent, part # RV-626-062-2756. This vent also includes a gasket to help seal the vent and prevent leaks. For installing the vent we also offer either sheet metal screws, part # 31071, or wood screws, part # 30587. If you wish to use a silicone caulk to seal the vent and keep out moisture I recommend part # 0160297.

  • How Should the 2-Piece Polypropylene Trailer Vent be Positioned when Installing
On the 2-Piece Polypropylene Trailer Vent, # WHMAV2-WAVT2, I would mount it near the top front of the trailer with the vent openings pointed down or towards the rear of the trailer. Ultimately, it does not really matter. Use some self-tapping screws like # 31071 and some sealant like # 0160297 when installing the vent.

  • Can Redline 2-Way Pop-Up Vent # 9106-2756 Be Installed on Trailer Wall Instead of Roof
There is no reason why you could not install the # 9106-2756 on the side of the trailer. Screws needed to install the vent are not included. We have the appropriate wood (# 30587) or sheet metal (# 31071) screws available. Using a silicone sealant like part # 0160297 is recommended to prevent water intrusion.

  • Recommended E-Track Mounting on Aluminum Frame Trailer
The Zinc Sheet Metal Screw - 8 x 3/4" Indented Hex Washer Head - Hex Slotted Drive # 31071 are a good choice for your wall studs, but not for your 3/4 inch wood floors. The zinc coating on both the E-track # E19148 and the screws will prevent galvanic corrosion from the dissimilar metals of steel and aluminum. For your floors, I recommend using zinc plated screws along with locknuts to secure your bikes using backing plate # e96RR. You can obtain that hardware from your local hardware...

The dimensions of Ventline Exterior Wall Vent for RV Range Hood # V2111-03 are shown in the linked photo I prepared for you. Mounting hole spacing is also indicated. Overall edge to edge dimensions are 5-1/4 x 11-5/8-inches and the vent fits an RV wall opening of 10-1/4 x 3-1/2-inches. Mounting screws # 31071 and white silicone sealant # 0160297 to complete the installation are sold separately. The sealant can be used as both an adhesive (by placing a narrow bead on the mounting flange...

The dimensions of the Ventline Replacement Damper for Ventline RV Range Hoods # BCA0472-00 are 9-7/16- long x 4-1/2-inches wide. Based on your photo this replacement part does not appear to be compatible with the size of your vent opening. You may be better served by a replacement vent assembly like # V2111-55. Part # V2111-55 is designed to fit a rough trailer opening of 10-1/2- wide x 3-3/4-inches tall. I went to our warehouse to measure this item for you. The mounting holes are 1/8-inch...

  • How to Fix a Leaky Roof Seam on a Travel Trailer
I do have products to help you seal the roof of your 2004 Fleetwood Taos but none of them will be specific to the trailer. What I recommend doing is further securing the seam using sheet metal screws every 12" or so with part # 31071 and then placing a fair amount of silicone along the entire seam with part # 0160297. The screws are not made of stainless steel but are zinc coated to prevent rust. The silicone sealer is specially made for waterproofing roofing materials and is both EPDM...

  • Replacement Lid And Operator Kit Recommendation For Ventline Ventadome Roof Vent
If the vent you have installed on your trailer has a 4-point hinge like the attached photo, part # BVD0449-A01 would be the replacement lid for your Ventline roof vent. We do not offer a metal replacement lid with a 4-point hinge. The replacement knob and operator you asked about for your fan is part # BVD0462-00. If you want to replace the vent with one that has a metal lid I recommend part # V2110SP-24. This will fit in a rough opening that measures 14-1/4 inches wide x 14-1/4 inches...

  • Damper Operation & Installation of Ventline Exterior Wall Vent for RV Range Hoods V2111-55
Yes, the internal damper in the Ventline Exterior Wall Vents for RV Range Hoods, parts # V2111-55 in black and # V2111-13 in white, opens automatically when you turn on the exhaust fan in your RV's kitchen range hood. These vents also have a locking feature for the damper that lets you keep it secured in the closed position. Two swiveling latches, one on each end of the damper panel, allow you to secure the damper for off-season storage or when in extreme temperatures when you will want...

  • Recommended RV Range Hood Vent with Locking Damper
The only range hood vents we offer are from Ventline, the Ventline Exterior Wall Vent for RV Range Hood part # V2111-13 for white or part # V2111-55 for black. These vents both have locking dampers so you can close them when not in use. That said, the locking mechanism is located on the outside of the vent and there is no way to operate them from inside the trailer. The vents are designed for a 10-1/2" wide x 3-3/4" tall rough opening. Please note, you will need screws part # 31071 and...

For your two roof vents on your 2001 ShadowMaster enclosed trailer, I recommend the Ventline Ventadome Trailer Roof Vent - Manual - 14-1/4" x 14-1/4" - White # V2092SP-28. I've attached a video of this installation to help you. I recommend using Sealant # 0160297. You will also want sheet metal screws like # 31071 and wood screws like # 30587. • Can A RV Roof Vent Be Installed On The Side Of A Trailer
Absolutely! With that being said most of the roof vents like the MaxxFan Plus Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan, Thermostat, and Remote # MA00-04500K are not designed to be installed on the side of your trailer, and may leak if not installed on the roof. Instead I recommend the Replacement Exterior Pop-Up Roof Vent # 9106 which can be installed on the side of your trailer as you can see in the included picture. You will need 12 mounting screws like # 31071, and Silicone # 0160297 to secure the vent...

  • Can Redline 2-Way Pop-Up Roof Vent 9106-2756 Be Installed On the Side of a Trailer
The Redline 2-Way Pop-Up Vent # 9106-2756 is designed as a roof vent. However, you could put it on the side of a trailer if you wanted to. There is no specific instruction manual. You would just cut the appropriate size hole using the vent, or more specifically the garnish, as a template. Then you would use screws like # 31071 and some sealant # 0160297 to mount and seal the vent.

The garnish that comes with the Redline 2-Way Pop-Up Roof Vent # 9106-2756 does not come with any predrilled holes so you will need to drill holes where you want them and then use wood screws like part # 31071 to attach it to the interior of your trailer.

You don't absolutely need both butyl tape and sealant, so many will use the LaSalle Bristol XTRM Universal Self-Leveling Sealant - White - Qty 1 # 34427034145-1 or # 0160297 and then the Zinc Sheet Metal Screw...

Based on the fact you have a finished interior and have space between the outside skin, I recommend using the wooden support to give you the extra strength to ensure it will hold up well over time. • Trailer Vent Recommendation for Venting an Air Conditioner Unit
The 2-Piece Polypropylene Trailer Vent # HMAV2-AVT2 would work well as an air conditioner vent on your trailer. You would just need to cut a 3 inch hole in your trailer to install the vent. For self-tapping screws the part # 31071 would work great and then for sealant part # 0160297.

  • Should I Add Another Vent to My Trailer For Air Circulation
I recommend adding a second or third vent to your trailer like part # HMAV2-AVT2 to keep air flow circulating in the trailer. You have one vent pulling air in and there is not a way for the air to escape the trailer. Adding 1 or 2 vents to the back or top of the trailer will help with air circulation. I recommend using TremPro 644 Silicone Sealant part # 0160299 during installation to seal out moisture and zinc sheet metal screws part # 31071 to install the vent.

  • Recommended Wall Vent for Enclosed Trailer with Gas Water Heater
I recommend our Redline 2-Piece Polypropylene Trailer Vent # WHMAV2-WAVT2. This wall vent will work on a trailer wall up to 2 inches thick and can be installed in any convenient location on your enclosed trailer where you have or can make a 3-inch diameter hole. This wall vent is designed to provide a constant flow of air, and is louvered on one side so you can adjust it when installing for the best airflow and to help prevent water from getting in. You can use a sealant for installation...

  • How Far Apart Should E Tracks Be Installed On a Motorcycle Trailer
There's not a set distance that the E-Tracks like part # E19148 should be apart when installing in a one bike trailer. That will depend on the trailer dimensions, the weight of the trailer and where the best mounting locations are in your trailer. Are you planning on installing them on the floor or the walls? I am assuming it's a motorcycle trailer. If you are using wheel chocks, I would recommend putting the E-Tracks a couple feet on either side if possible. You don't need an exact figure...
