Question:
What size Bearing Buddy Bearing Protectors do I need to buy for a 2-11/16inch to 2-23/32inch hub?
asked by: Larry Z
Expert Reply:
The Bearing Buddy Bra you will need will be the # BB23B. This will have an outer diameter of 2-7/16" and will be a nice, snug fit. It might be a little work getting them installed the first time, but they will stretch out a little over time and become easier.
With that said, if you were looking for the Bearing Buddy itself, we do have one that is close to the measurement you got, but not exact. The # BB2717SS will fit a hub bore of 2.717" that will use the # 14125A outer bearing, which has a 1.250" inner diameter and is usually used on 5,200 pound axles to 7,000 pound axles.
