Can Orientation of Bikes Be Reversed on Kuat Transfer V2 Bike Rack

Question:
I noticed that in the manual for the Kuat Transfer V2 3-bike version, the first bike faces the passenger side and alternates from there. Can one reverse this the first bike paces the driver side and alternates from there?

The frame of the Kuat Transfer V2 Bike Rack # KU24FR has specific holes in it for the arm pucks so that starting bike position will need to face the passenger side of your vehicle. I've attached a clip from the instructions showing what I'm talking about.
