Troubleshooting Roadmaster Brake-Lite Relay Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-88400 Light Issues

Question:

When the car is connected to the coach and the brake controller is installed, only the turn signal lights illuminate when the brakes in the coach are pressed. The installer says this is correct? I don’t believe it can be? Thank you

Your brakes lights should be illuminating when the brake pedal is depressed when using the Roadmaster Brake-Lite Relay Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-88400. When using the relay kit, your vehicle's lights should mimic those of your RV.

I would check the wiring to ensure the Relay Kit was wired correctly, I am attaching a wiring diagram for you to see how it should be connected.
