I would be happy to help you find a hitch for your 2022 Chevy Equinox. I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver item # C77FR. This is a custom fit hitch that bolts directly onto your vehicle without any drilling into the frame or welding. It has a maximum tongue weight of 675 lbs which will be more than sufficient to support your cargo carrier when it is fully loaded. I have attached a picture of what this hitch will look like on an Equinox. I recommend checking the owner's manual to verify your vehicle's towing capacity and tongue weight, which you never want to exceed.
