Tow Vehicle: 2020 GMC Sierra 2500HD AT4 standard bed 6foot 8.5 5th Wheel: Grand Design Reflection 28BH 8 Feet wide What 5th wheel hitch receiver would I need to get enough clearance when making tight turns? I have been looking at the BandW Companion receiver but I dont know if I need a slider or stationary one. Ive also thought about saving some payload and getting more bed space by switching out the standard 1621 Lippert pin box with a Reese Goosebox 16k with a BandW OEM Ball and Safety Chain Kit. Will I be able to get adequate clearance using this setup or should I stick with a traditional 5th wheel hitch receiver?

Since the nose of the Grand Design Reflection 28BH is tapered you could get away with a fixed hitch in the bed of your 2020 GMC Sierra 2500 and not need turning clearance from a slider.
What this also means is that you could go with a Reese Goose Box like the part # RP85FR as well in place of your pin box for an even easier setup. This would mean no heavy fifth wheel hitch to remove and install or take up your bed space. Since you have the OEM rail kit you'd need the B and W Ball and Safety Chain Loop kit part # BWGNXA2061 as well.
