The Rain Cover # HU88FR can be left on the Hughes Autoformer Voltage Booster with Surge Protection # HU57FR while it is in use. If you are setting it on the ground be sure to use a Stand # HU68FR to keep it off the ground.
The Hughes Autoformer # HU57FR will automatically resume power to your camper after a outage or surge unless it was damaged by the surge. You can check the lights on the unit to determine if the unit is damaged or the park wiring was damaged from the power surge.
We also have the Hardwired Mounting Kit # HU34FR that will allow you to mount the Autoformer inside your camper to protect it from the elements and from theft.
