Question:

I'm buying a used motorhome with all hook ups. Has a Stowmaster5000 tow bar but not the hook up brackets that bolt to the car. Will be towing a 2017 GMC Acadia can I get a base plate that will fit???

The Roadmaster Crossbar-Style Base Plate Kit (EZ4) # RM-523189-4 fits your 2017 GMC Acadia and is compatible with the StowMaster5000 tow bar. I noticed you said with "all hook ups" but I want to make sure everything is covered, so I am going to list what all is needed to flat tow your Acadia and what I recommend for each item if you don't already have it.

Tow Bar Wiring: Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267. This lets you wire your vehicle to accept your RV's tail, brake, and turn signal lights for flat towing.

Safety Cables: RoadMaster 68" Single Hook, Coiled Safety Cables # RM-643. Safety cables ensure that your towed car does not separate from your motorhome in the event that your tow bar becomes detached.
