Question:
I am looking for a receiver hitch setup for my AWD VW Taos. My intention is to use it for a hitch bike rack so it does not have to be heavy duty. Are you aware of a hitch that fits?

I do have a solution for you to carry some bikes with your 2022 Volkswagen Taos, but as of right now (October 2021) we currently don't have any trailer hitches that fit the AWD model of your vehicle. The alternative solutions include using a trunk mount bike rack or a roof rack.
For a trunk mount bike rack I recommend the Yakima FullBack which comes in 2-Bike # Y02634 and 3-Bike # Y02633 versions.
For a roof rack you'll want the TimberLine Towers # Y33TR and 50" JetStream Crossbars # Y00425. This will then allow you to use a roof mounted bike rack like the Yakima FrontLoader # Y02103. You will need one of these for every bike that you're planning on carrying. You can add the Lock Cores # Y07206 to have matching locks on the roof rack and this bike rack.
Trunk mount racks are more cost-effective but they will be making contact with your vehicle which can potentially damage your rear spoiler if left on for long periods of time. You will also have to remove the bikes and rack to gain access to your rear hatch area. Roof racks do cost more but they have a higher weight capacity, and you can leave everything installed when you need to get into your rear hatch area.
If you can give me a little more insight into what bikes you're wanting to carry I can help you determine which option would be best for your application.
