Recommended Air Bags With Internal Jounce Bumpers and Compressor System For a 2021 GMC Sierra 1500

Question:

I am looking at the firestone air bags for a 21 gmc sierra. my question is do these have an internal jounce bumper? i know the airlift brand does but I cannot find info on Firestone

No, the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2609 do not have a internal jounce bumper like the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate # AL88288 for your 2021 GMC Sierra 1500. If you have an AT4 or Adaptive Ride Control this kit will not fit your Sierra.

The Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Plus # AL88288 uses the jounce bumper to help reduce bouncing that you normally get when you have a heavy load as it is to much weight for the shocks to overcome by themselves.

If you have an AT4 trim the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate # AL88388 has the taller brackets to compensate for the factory lift that is installed on your Sierra.

I recommend the Air Lift WirelessAIR Compressor System # AL74000EZ as it allows for one of the simplest installations and can be controlled from either the included wireless remote or you can use a smartphone with the Air Lift app. Once you have your desired air pressure set you do not need to monitor the system as the smart manifold will keep the air pressure to within 3psi of your setting when your Sierra is being operated. This is great when you only need the minimum 5psi as it ensures you do not accidently damage the air bags from lack of air pressure.
