Features to know about

Control and Cushion When It Counts

When the load gets heavy, your truck needs more than just rear springs hanging on for dear life. Alpha HD air springs add up to 5,000 lbs of rear axle support, keeping your truck steady even when the trailer is loaded, the bed is packed, and the miles are long. No more rear-end sag throwing off your braking and steering, or headlights pointing into the sky. With air bag support underneath, you keep control of your ride even when you're towing a travel trailer or moving a serious payload.

Dial in the Ride for Any Load

Every load is different, and this system adjusts to match. Alpha HD air springs let you fine-tune ride height and firmness with air pressure from 5 to 100 psi. When carrying heavy weight, add air to level your suspension and maintain steady handling. Running without a load? Drop to the minimum pressure for a smoother, more compliant ride without stiffness or bounce. Manual inflation valves are included, so tuning your setup for each trip is straightforward and dependable.

Built Tough for Work and Weather

Air bags are only as strong as their weakest link. That's why Alpha HD bags are reinforced from end to end with heavy-duty end caps, 20 internal support wires, and powder-coated steel brackets. Add corrosion-resistant hardware and thick roll plates, and you've got gear that holds up to real-world hauling through heat, cold, salt, and slop.

Installation That Doesn't Waste Your Weekend

Adding serious load support shouldn't mean losing a whole weekend. The precision laser-cut brackets are designed to bolt cleanly to your truck's existing mounting points with minimal drilling. Just smart engineering that fits the way it should, which is perfect for the DIYer. Manual valves mount through license plate fastener holes or a location of your choosing (which may require drilling). With high-quality fittings, pre-bent brackets, and mounting hardware included, you'll be back on the road in just a few hours without a trip to the fab shop.

Flexible for Today, Ready for What's Next

This kit is designed to work with your setup today and wherever your upgrades take you tomorrow. You can inflate manually with standard air valves right out of the box, no extra parts needed. Already have an onboard compressor? The Alpha HD system connects easily to most existing setups. Planning for an in-cab wireless controller down the road? No problem. The foundation is already built in, making it easy to expand your control options when you're ready.

by:

Excellent choice… Very high-quality… Took 4 to 5 hours to install… Which included new shocks getting all the tools together and clean up… Very happy thank you

Installed this past weekend. Haven't towed with it yet. Nice construction and finish. I have a 2025 Chevrolet Trail Boss 2500HD and the spacers are NOT needed. Measurement for needing the spacers in 7" and above between jounce cup and contact pad. My space was 5.5" to 6".

Awesome product easy to install and I really appreciate etrailer service

by:

It was very easy install . The ride has improved a lot while towing my 41 ft. toy hauler , Thanks !!

by:

Direct bolt on, plug and play

by:

The product is a great product. After installation was completed and the air added to the air suspension, it raised the rear end of the van about 2-3 inches.A very nice improvement.
Installation instructions definitely need better quality diagrams.

by:

Easy to install and work just as I had expected. Great finish on brackets and quality hardware. Easy to follow instructions. Highly recommend these airbags!

by:

The 2" spacers are definitely not needed for a Trail Boss. I could barely get them in, and now the ride is super stiff. Now I have to get back under the truck and remove the spacers. Not looking forward to that. It was very difficult installation, for no reason.

by:

Very well built brackets, installation was as explained in the instruction. Happy Camper!

Put about 1800 miles on these last weekend. Was picking up a car that's heavier than my normal race car on the ramp truck, so I wanted to give the truck a bit of help. Good news, it worked well. Truck rode beautifully, loaded or unloaded.

The instructions could be a bit more clear, in regards to the clinch stud. I had that on backwards at first because of how things appeared in the picture. Also, I know most things are DIY but installation was about 80% assembly, 20% actual install. If these came already assembled, it would have saved a lot of time!

  • When I Install the Pacbrake Alpha HD Air Bag Suspension Kit Will it Raise the Back of My Suspension?
Hello Warren, Great question, and it’s awesome that you’re doing your homework on how the air system will affect your Elevation’s stance. When you’ve got the Pacbrake ALPHA HD #PB69SV kit installed, you’ll need to keep a minimum of 5 psi in the bags just to protect them. That little bit of pressure keeps the rubber bellows from folding or rubbing when the truck’s unloaded. It’s basically a “maintenance” pressure. At that minimum pressure, your truck’s ride height will raise a little...

  • Difference Between PB79SV and PB69SV For 2024 Chevy Silverado
Hey Forrest! Good question - both the Pacbrake Alpha # PB79SV and # PB69SV are a fit for your 2024 Silverado 1500. There is one single difference between the two models and it comes with the internal jounce bumper that's part of the makeup of part # PB79SV. The part # PB69SV is the standard spring without the internal jounce. The internal jounce feature is going to prevent you from completely bottoming out even if you happen to lose air on the bags. That's really the only obvious benefit....

  • Will PacBrake Air Bags Fit With A Gooseneck Hitch Already Installed?
Hi Jeremy, The PacBrake Alpha HD Air Bag Suspension Kit # PB69SV will indeed fit with a preinstalled gooseneck on your 2025 Chevy Silverado 1500 (2 wheel or 4 wheel drive). There is a step that includes drilling, which I have pictured below, but it is a pretty easy one to get done. Couple things to note though; if you have an AT4/Trail Boss model you will also need the # PB73VV 2" spacers and they will not fit models equipped with factory Adaptive Ride Control. Are you getting a lot...

  • Is There Compressor Kit that Can be Used with PacBrake Air Bag Kits
Hey Finn, yes we have compressor kits that can be used with either of the PacBrakes kits part # PB69SV and # PB79SV that you referenced. We have single path kits like the part # PB49MV if you wanted to have both bags inflated to the same pressure at all times or if you want a dual path kit so that either bag could have a different pressure in them you'd want the part # PB29MV.

  • Which Pacbrake Air Bags fit 2025 Chevy Silverado/GMC Sierra 1500 Trail Boss/AT4
Hey Zach! If you're getting a 2025 Trail Boss/AT4 you need the Pacbrake Alpha HD # PB69SV or Pacbrake Alpha HD Pro # PB79SV. Both come with the spacer required to fit these trim levels. The Alpha HD is your standard set of air bags and the Alpha HD Pro has internal jounce bumpers which lets you run the air bags at 0 psi when you aren't towing or hauling. I also recommend adding an air compressor like the Pacbrake # PB49MV. This will allow you to control the air bags from the cab of your...

  • Minimum and Maximum PSI for Pacbrake Alpha HD Air Bag Suspension Kit part # PB69SV
Hi Perry, The minimum air pressure for the Pacbrake Alpha HD Air Bag Suspension Kit part # PB69SV is 5 PSI, and the maximum is 100 PSI. Keeping the air pressure within this range will help make sure you get the most life out of your air springs. What vehicle are you thinking about putting these on? Feel free to comment below!
