I purchased the Rhino Rack Vortex Aero crossbars for my Ford Escape and they are the 49 inch long. I plan on trading in my car for a 2022 Kia Telluride and wanted to know if the 49 inch bars would still work if I just purchased new feet for them. On the site it shows the 53 inch bars, but if I didnt need to buy new bars it would help a ton.

The correct crossbar size for a Rhino-Rack roof rack on your 2022 Kia Telluride are the 54 inch bars like you mentioned, the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars - Silver # RRVA137S-2 or Black # RRVA137B-2.
That said, I think it's possible the 49 inch Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars # RRVA126B-2 will be able to fit. While I cannot guarantee it, I do know Yakima uses 50 inch bars for the '22 Telluride, and while that inch can certainly make a difference in regards to fit, I think there's a decent chance the 49 inch bars will work.
What you can do is simply order the correct Rhino-Rack legs for your Telluride first and try the 49 inch bars to see if it works, and if not you can then order the 54 inch # RRVA137B-2.
