Troubleshooting Furrion Backup Monitor That Erratically Changes Orientation

Question:

A few months ago I replaced a lower priced backup camera with The Furrion model above.. it worked very well during the first out of town trips. last week we went out for a couple of days of camping and the view on the screen was inverted both side to side and top to bottom. It is a erratic with the touch response. The screen flickers and displays black horizontal lines and boxes. And the screen shuts down after a few minutes.

Based on the issues you are describing there is something wrong internally with your monitor. Unfortunately there isn't much you can do to fix the internal components of the monitor. I recommend reaching out to Furrion and going through their warranty program to get it replaced with properly functioning monitor.

If you're out of warranty you can replace the monitor with the Replacement 5" Monitor # FR97FR or Replacement 7" Monitor # FR47FR.
