Question:

I am looking for a hitch to add to my 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I would like to add a 4-way as well and don't have the tow package. Which hitch and wiring do you recommend?

For your 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13065. This hitch has a maximum gross trailer weight of 5,000 lbs and tongue weight of 500 lbs. The # C13065 may be used with a weight distribution hitch as well, which can increase the towing capacity.

It also has a concealed cross tube, so only the receiver tube will be visible. This gives it more of a factory look and can help to reduce issues with clearance under your Jeep. The hitch is assembled in the USA.

For wiring, I recommend the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118727. This wiring harness plugs directly into existing wiring on your Jeep and will give you the 4-way connection you are looking for to power your trailer's signal lights.

If you need a ball mount as well, I recommend the # 989899 ball mount kit. This comes with a 1-7/8" and 2" ball.
