Replacement AC For Dometic Brisk Air II 57915.751 Model

Question:

Just bought a 2010 Crossroads Zinger ZT-190-RD with a Dometic 57915.751 A/C unit that needs to be replaced due to a repair job gone extremely awry may or may not have been done by my boyfriend ???????. I’m a complete newbie to all of this so it’s kind of overwhelming. Is this unit a direct replacement for the one I have now, and is it simple to change out? If so, will I need any other parts to go with it for installation? Thank you so much for your time.

The best option to replace your Dometic Brisk Air II 57915.751 air conditioner is from Advent Air, and you can choose from either White or Black in color:

- White: Advent Air Replacement RV Air Conditioner for Dometic Setup # ACDOM150

- Black: Advent Air Replacement RV Air Conditioner for Dometic Setup # ACDOM150B

This AC will directly replace your Dometic AC, so long as its thermostat, distribution box, and wiring is in good working order. It has a plug that you can simply plug into the existing wiring, and includes the mounting hardware, so changing it out is indeed quite simple.

The Advent AC's are 15,000 Btu units so you get the needed cooling power, and importantly they also include a start capacitor. This is really important because these store power to give the ACs a jump and ensure that your unit is always going to have the needed juice to start up.
