Are you suppose to grease electric tongue jack through the covered hole were you can manuel jack up trailer

Base on the installation instructions, to grease the jackscrew on the Ultra-Fab Electric A-Frame Jack, # UF38-944017, extend the jack until the grease fitting is aligned with the hole in the outer tube. You can apply enough grease with two pumps from a standard grease gun.

To grease the gears, you will need to first remove the fuse from the fuse holder. Next, remove the gear cover via 4 phillips screws to expose the gears. Then, grease the gears using chassis lube and reinstall the cover. The jack is not greased through the manual crank at the top of the jack.

The Ultra Fab 3502 Set # 38-944017 tongue jack has no access hole to grease zerk. How do I grease the inner threaded shaft?

The zerk fitting on the Ultra Fab # 38-944017 is located on the lower stem assembly, so you actually have to extend the jack until it raises up and is lined up with the access opening. The video I linked below does a good job of pointing out its location.
