Difference in Head Tilt Adjustment for Curt TruTrack and Washer Tilt Adjustment Used By Equal-i-zer

one of them has 2 pins and the other has one pin and a hole. is this correct?

I'm assuming that you're speaking of the head tilt mechanism of the # C17500 Curt TruTrack weight distribution system. Many other systems like the Equal-i-zer # EQ37100ET use traditional spacer washers that fit onto a pin in the weight distribution head unit, the more washers installed, the greater the tilt.

The # C17500 TruTrack uses spacers that can lock into the hitch head in one of 5 positions to adjust the angle of the hitch head as shown in the provided diagram.

Although I'm a huge proponent of the Equal-i-zer product, the TruTrack tilt adjustment is easier to use in my opinion.
