Question:
How many backing plates would you recommend using to secure 7foot of E track on an aluma motorcycle trailer?

Helpful Expert Reply:
I typically recommend using the etrailer E-Track Backing Plate w/ Hardware - Galvanized Steel - 6" Long x 6" Wide - Qty 1 # e89RR on each end of your E-Track sections # E19148 and one in the middle for added support. With one backing plate on each end and one in the middle it will give you plenty of support to secure your motorcycle.
Since this is an aluminum trailer, you'll want to use a coat of paint or some other insulating material to prevent galvanic corrosion that might occur with the mixing of two different materials.
