On the Classic, are there any special instructions with regard to the cutting of the lower air dam or are they pretty much the same as already described?

I have a different option for you, but the Draw- Tite Front Mount Trailer Hitch # 65081 is actually not confirmed to fit the 2019 Ram 1500 Classic. It only fits the new body style trucks.

Instead you will need to go with the Draw-Tite Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - 2" # 65062 which is a confirmed fit for your 2019 Ram 1500 Classic. You will need to trim an 8" wide x 1.5" tall section out of the lower air dam as you can see in the included diagram.

Lastly due to the variances in the models of the Ram's it is possible that if your truck has tow hooks that they may not be able to be reinstalled.
