Question:
My friend purchased all the components from E-Trailer to flat tow his 2016 AWD V6 GMC Terrain including your fuse bypass switch. I just want to verify that fuse #32 is the correct fuse to by pass for this vehicle. Apparently this shuts off power to the cigarette lighter power port that will power the auxiliary brake unit that he purchased from you. If I understand correctly I will need to wire a power port directly from the battery to rectify this situation, an item that he purchased from you but not realizing till now that it would need to be installed. Please advise and Thank You for your help.

According to the online manual for a 2016 GMC Terrain you will need to remove Fuse 32 to flat tow the vehicle.
As per GM Technical Service Bulletin 17-NA-348, GM has identified 4-cylinder models of this vehicle as having steering instability issues while towing. If you have a 4-cylinder model of this vehicle, you will need a # RM-76517 and will need to leave fuse DLIS #32 intact and pull the ABS module fuse located under the hood. Note: due to manufacturing variances, some 4-cylinder models may label the ABS module fuse as #15 or #16. You will also need to install a charge wire kit, # RM-156-25 unless you already have a charge line kit (Brake Buddy braking systems come with one). This information is current as of November 20, 2017. Contact the vehicle manufacturer for further updates.
Since you have a 6-cylinder GMC Terrain you can remove Fuse 32 and install a 12 Volt Outlet Kit # RM-9332 on the dash and wire it directly to the battery to power your braking system.
