The most important part of selecting the correct weight distribution system is finding one rated for your tongue weight loaded and unloaded.
With your travel trailer having a hitch weight of 1,075lbs I recommend the Blue Ox TrackPro Weight Distribution w/ Sway Control # BLU27FR. This system is rated for trailers with a tongue weight of 1,000-1,300lbs which is right where you want to be on your trailer, as your tongue weight will increase when you add your additional gear. The maximum trailer weight is 13,000lbs which you are well below.
Sway control is built into this hitch to keep your trailer tracking straight behind your Ram 1500 while you are driving. You will not have to remove any parts of this hitch system when it is time to maneuver your trailer into position at the campground like other systems that use a sway bar.
