Replacement Mechanism that Lifts and Lowers MaxxFan RV Roof Vent Lid
Updated 08/17/2021 | Published 08/16/2021 >
Question:
Our Maxx Fan started flying open while driving and knob no longer does anything. There were also broken pieces of something sitting on the screen in a black material. I do not see a part number on the fan, but it is a 4-speed with manual lift. 1 Which part do you think I need? 2 Can the part be replaced without removing the fan? 3 Are instructions or a video available on how to replace the part? Thanks!

Based on what you listed it sounds like your lift arms broke on your MaxxFan which you could replace with the part # MA10-20222KS. To install this you'd have to either drop the unit or get up on top of the RV. We don't have an install video for this at this time though.
