What Hardware Do I Need to Install My Demco Fifth-Wheel Hitch on My 2004 Ford F-250 (6-3/4 ft. Bed)?

Question:
I have a Demco High Jacker 21000 above bed I think. The truck is a 2004 Ford F-250 Lariat 6 3/4 bed. When I was trying to figure out the hardware needed to mount the hitch to the truck I discovered that depending on the year that particular hitch was manufactured dictates which rails are required. I think they said 2012 or earlier needs the older style. I think it is a 2017 hitch but can you confirm? I found several Demco decals with model numbers. It appears the original owner made updates to the hitch.

Expert Reply:
For your above-bed Demco fifth-wheel hitch, you just need the standard above-bed rails. I recommend the Demco Hijacker Premier Series Above-Bed Base Rails and Custom Installation Kit # DM8552006-71. The installation kit comes with all hardware required for a drill-free installation on your 2004 Ford F-250 (6-3/4 ft. bed).
