Question:
Can this be used as a running light turn indicator and subsequently a brake light when turn indicators are not being used? Or left brake light when turning right and vice versa?

Expert Reply:
The Miro-Flex LED Trailer Side Marker Light and Mid-Ship Turn Signal part # MCL48AB is a two function light which works as both a running light and turn signal. That said, most trailers use a combined wiring system which means the brake and turn are on the same circuit so unless separated the above light would also illuminate with the brakes. The only way to separate this out is with a converter like the Roadmaster Brite-Lite Wiring Converter part # RM-732.
