Question:
Having trouble trying to find the parts needed to replace my disk brakes on a 1995 Shorelander SSR27T trailer. I need a complete setup for both axels brakes, calipers, rotors, bracket, and bearings/ seals inner outer and bearing buddies. Each axel is rated for 4300 for a total of 8600. I have 15 inch, 6 lug rims. I believe the rotors are 12 inch. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

To figure out which disc brakes will fit your trailer, you will need to remove one of the hubs. Unfortunately, I was unable to find any information about your specific model Shorelander. With that being said, once the hub is off, there will typically be numbers pressed into the bearings. These do wear off over time, though, so you may need to measure the inside diameter of the inner and outer bearings. This should be done with calipers as it needs to be done as precisely as possible.
The Kodiak Disc Brake Kit - 12" Hub/Rotor - 6 on 5-1/2 - Dacromet - 5,200 lbs to 6,000 lbs # K2HR526D, as an example, will use an inner bearing # 25580 (1.750" inner diameter), and an outer bearing # 15123 (1.250" inner diameter). This will also fit a standard 5 bolt brake flange, which I included a picture of how and where to measure.
Odds are this will be the correct kit for your trailer, but I do suggest double checking to make sure.
