Recommended Class IV Hitch for 2017 Coachmen Freelander

Question:
I have a 2017 Coachman Freelander on an E-350 chassis. The current receiver is not strong enough for what I will be towing. What class IV is available for this RV? Thanks.

We do have a Class IV and V hitches available, but none of them are a confirmed fit for your 2017 Coachmen Freelander. The only option would be a universal hitch.
I recommend the # 41990-07 Draw-Tite Ultra Frame Service Body Trailer Hitch Receiver - Class V which requires weld on installation. The # 41990-07 fits vehicles with frames up to 44" so you will need to measure your frame rails before ordering.
Although this hitch has a maximum gross trailer weight of 16,000 lbs and tongue weight of 1,600 lbs, you will need to know the towing capabilities of your Coachmen Freelander. Consult your owners manual to find this information. You will be limited by the lower rating between your vehicle and the hitch.
