Is the Optronics 21 Diode LED Trailer Taillight the Brightest

Question:

Is the Optronics STL55RB still the brightest 4-inch round STT you offer? It has been around a while and I notice most manufacturers have introduced newer products, but that does not mean the newer ones are better/brighter. Also very interested in a 4-inch STT with backup light if there are extremely bright and conspicuous versions that compare with the STL55RB. Thank You!

Since Optronics does not share information such as lumens, determining the brightness can be difficult to determine. Although not always the case, typically more diodes indicates that the light will be brighter.

The # STL23RB Optronics LED Trailer Tail Light - Stop, Tail, Turn - Submersible - 21 Diodes - Round - Red Lens still has the most at 21 diodes which will make it one of, if not the most, bright red 4" stop, tail, turn lights. The only other 4" red light with as many diodes is the # STL101RFB GloLight LED Trailer Tail Light. Since you are looking for extremely bright and conspicuous, the diffused light from the GloLight ring is probably not what you want.

The only 4" round light we carry that includes a backup light is the STL201RFMB. This has light has 24 diodes. It also uses a GloLight lens with the clear backup lights located in the center.

I have included a video review for all three lights. Each review shows what the lights and different functions look like in the dark.
