Correct Cap for Valterra Sewer Hose Carrier on 2021 Airstream Travel Trailer

Question:

Hello I ordered one of the valterra sewer storage cap replacements for my 2021 airstream and it doesnt seem to be the correct fit . Any idea which one I need ?

Expert Reply:

Valterra makes two different replacement caps for their sewer hose carriers. The # A04-0161BK is for carriers manufactured before November of 2019. If your carrier was manufactured after that time (which is likely given the 2021 model year of your Airstream), the correct replacement cap would be part # VA82VR.

I've put together a side by side photo for you, showing the differences between the two.
