Question:
I have a old Trailrite boat trailer that I want to replace the drum brakes and bearings. I currently have a hydraulic surge break actuator with no reverse solenoid. The total trailer weight with boat is around 3500lbs. The old drum brake measures a little over 10inch diameter on the outside and I have 15inch rims. The brake assembly is marked Bendix 3202033inch on the back, but a Google search does not find any info. I am now looking to replace the brakes, bearings and the drum hub as well, as things were rustier than I expected inside. Wheel bolts: 5 bolt @ 4.5" Outer bearing: 4T-L44649 Inner bearing: (did not get) Spindle measurements: B: 1.75" C: 1.378" D: 1.063"

I recommend the etrailer Hydraulic Brake Kit # AKFBBRK-35-D as it has a Dacromet coating on the backing plate, stainless steel springs and an aluminum hydraulic cylinder that will all reduce corrosion on the inside of the brake system.
The etrailer Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly # AKHD-545-35-G-K is galvanized coated, making it ideal to be used with your boat trailer. It has a 5 on 4-1/2" lug pattern and includes new lug nuts, races, bearings and a grease seal for installation.
It looks like one of your Bearing Buddy's has some corrosion inside it. The Bearing Buddy Bearing Protectors # BB1980A-SS are stainless steel and feature an auto check to prevent grease from blowing out the rear grease seal and getting into your brakes.
