Transom Savor Recommendation For Small 8 Plastic Boat With 2.5 HP Motor

Question:

I have a 5X8foot plastic boat, a small Box Trailer and a 2.5 Motor. I would need to attach the saver to the trailer, and I think I would need the the saver with the rubber that goes to the motor. The boat will be securely strapped down to the trailer with 8 E trailer 2x4 Transom Straps, I know that Transom Savers are a good idea, Im just not sure what one would work, thank for any suggestions, Sorry I dont have any pictures yet Im still waiting for the trailer. The Trailer in the upload is like the one Im getting.

I recommend the Tourney Pro Transom Saver # 315-FXJ for your 5'x8' plastic boat. The transom saver is definitely recommended with the lightweight plastic boat you have. With this transom saver you can mount it to the trailer by sliding it onto a Keel Roller # YR12244-125EC or attaching the quick release adapter onto your trailers frame. It can extend from 24" to 36" in length by 3" increments.
