Question:

I understand the K650 is discontinued, but is there a replacement shaft and handle, or repair kit that works on the K650? Or, is there a different model that has the same mounting footprint? The application is a sailboat lifting keel, and a different model winch will likely require a lot of modification. Thank you,

I have a solution for you, but the replacement parts you're looking for on your K650 winch are not available. However, the Fulton High-Performance Brake Winch - Winch Only - 1,500 lbs # F143100 is also a K series winch and will have a similar (but not precise match) mounting footprint to the K650 judging from what I was able to find from my research.

If you need a new winch cable, the Hand Winch Cable with Safety Hook 1/4" Diameter x 25' Long # DL24100 will work well with the # F143100.
