Will this work on the Thule T2 Pro XTR? If not, can you recommend a solution?

I do have another option for you, but the Replacement 2" Hitch Adapter for Thule Apex, EasyFold, or Helium Bike Carriers # TH8523185001 you were looking at will not work with your Thule T2 Pro XTR.
Instead you will need to use the Hitch Reducer 2" to 1-1/4" Trailer Hitch Receiver # HT02 which will allow you to use your THule T2 Pro XTR # TH23JV with a 1-1/4" shank in a 2" trailer hitch receiver. Since Thule does not make a replacement shank this is currently the only option, and one that Thule has mentioned is acceptable when we have reached out to them about this.
