I may have a solution for you to continue using your existing Thule Squarebars that you used with your Thule TH400XT feet, but those feet were discontinued in 2015 along with the corresponding fit kits and parts are no longer available. However, you could use your old squarebars with the Thule Evo Clamp Feet # TH710501 and Fit Kit # TH145185 to create a roof rack system for your 2013 Volkswagen Passat.
