Can B and W Companion Slider Hitch Fit Gooseneck Hitch

Question:

I have an older Ram 2500 with a goose neck hitch on it. If I purchase the BandW Companion hitch and the BandW gooseneck converter, can the same hitch without the gooseneck converter be used on a newer different truck that has no gooseneck? I know the BandW hitch would need to be compatabile with the other truck brand.

The B and W Companion hitch part # BWRVK3500 can only fit trucks that have a B and W Turnoverball gooseneck hitch installed in them like the part # BWGNRK1384 that fits the 2018 Ram 2500. There isn't a way to fit this hitch to any other brand of gooseneck.

If I knew what brand of gooseneck hitch you have I could see if there's a gooseneck to fifth wheel rail adapter available for it that might allow you to use a B and W slider Patriot hitch like part # BWRVK3270.

For example we have the Curt X5 for their gooseneck hitches part # 16310.
