Question:
How much does the hitch itself weigh ?
asked by: Jeff S
Helpful Expert Reply:
Minus the shipping packaging, the B&W # BWRVK3710 Companion 5th wheel hitch for the 2020+ Chevy/GMC in bed puck package weighs about 130 lbs. The hitch head can be easily be removed by pulling the saddle pins which will reduce the weight of the hitch by almost half, which will make it easier to handle.
I'll link you to a demonstration video for the B&W Companion Hitch for the GM Tow/Prep Package.
