Replacement Brake Assemblies for 4400 lb Axles on 2013 Keystone Outback TT

Updated 07/09/2021 | Published 07/08/2021

Question:

Hello, I am looking at purchasing new electric brakes for my camper but Im unable to decipher the axle sticker to determine the weight limit I have attached a picture. It appears to be an Alco 402268 and I have 2 axles. I am considering the Dexter never adjust brakes but unsure which to order. Thanks in advance.

From what I've been able to determine, your axle is a AL/KO 4400 lb axle, which would use a 10 x 2-1/4 inch brake assembly.

Dexter offers a set of self adjusting brake assemblies, part # K23-478-479 that would be compatible, but I'd like you to measure the bolt hole spacing of your brake mounting flanges, just to be sure. If the top holes are 2-7/8 inches apart and the bottom are 3-1/4 inches apart as shown in the provided photo, then the # K23-478-479 would work for you.
