Helpful Expert Reply:
Demco says to use 1/2" Grade 8 bolts 1-1/2" long for the safety chains on the Demco 50-Degree A-Frame Trailer Coupler # DM16680-52.
I recommend the Buyers Products 3/8" x 35" Class 4 Trailer Safety Chain # 337BSC3835. You will need 2 of these as they are sold individually. The chain comes with a large clevis hook for your hitch and is zinc coated to resist corrosion.

This question actually asks what bolts to use to hook up the chains to the coupler, not which chains. Can you point us towards the proper bolts to purchase for attaching the chains? The spec listed in the product description is very large and I can't find it anywhere.
